Chapter 300 Ambush
Chapter 300 Ambush
"Don't even think about running!" the silver-armored youth roared, stomping his foot and transforming into a bolt of lightning, following closely behind.
In the dense forest, the figure nimbly moved through the complex terrain, moving so fast that it was difficult to track.
However, Mo Ming and the silver-armored youth were clearly not ordinary people. As they chased each other, they were secretly competing with each other, neither of them willing to fall behind.
"Who is this guy?" the silver-armored youth cursed in a low voice, his eyes filled with murderous intent.
"No matter who it is, catch them first." Mo Ming replied coldly, his eyes flashing with a cold light, and his speed increased again.
Three figures engaged in a fierce chase through the dense forest, the air thick with tension. The ownership of the resource crate was far from settled.
Deep in the dense forest, the wind howled and the shadows of the trees intertwined as three figures darted through the trees like arrows released from a bow.
The silver-armored youth was enraged, his body crackling with lightning, like a furious thunder beast, as he relentlessly pursued the agile figure. Mo Ming, on the other hand, was like a drawn blade, calm and sharp, his gaze fixed intently on the target ahead.
The figure was slender, yet exceptionally agile, as if already familiar with the terrain of the dense forest; every turn and leap was perfectly timed.
He would sometimes climb to the treetops, sometimes glide through the bushes, using the complex terrain to constantly increase the distance between himself and his pursuers. However, neither the silver-armored youth nor Mo Ming were ordinary people; their speed and reflexes far surpassed those of ordinary people, and they were always able to keep up with him.
"Stop running! Hand over the resource box, and maybe I can spare your life!" the silver-armored youth roared, his voice startling the surrounding birds and beasts into flight.
The man turned around and sneered, his voice hoarse but carrying a hint of provocation: "Come and take it if you dare!"
Upon hearing this, the silver-armored youth's anger intensified. He stomped his foot, and lightning flashed, instantly transforming him into a bolt of lightning as he lunged forward. The other man seemed to have anticipated this, ducking low and rolling to narrowly avoid the fatal blow.
"Hmph, you do have some skill!" The silver-armored youth sneered, flicked his spear, gathered lightning, and thrust it forward.
At the same time, Mo Ming was not to be outdone. His figure blended into the forest like a ghost, and with a flash of cold light in his hand, the bronze demon-suppressing sword silently slashed towards the back of the man's neck.
"You think you can surround and kill me? You're not qualified!"
The man sneered, pushed off with his foot, and leaned back sharply, barely dodging Mo Ming's sword. At the same time, he braced himself against the tree trunk with one hand and leaped onto the treetop like a nimble monkey.
Seeing this, the silver-armored youth roared and swung his spear horizontally, crackling with lightning, cleaving the large tree in two. The massive trunk crashed to the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust. However, the man had already used the force of the falling trunk to leap onto another tree, his speed undiminished.
"This guy is too slippery, we have to join forces!" the silver-armored youth said through gritted teeth.
"Stop talking nonsense and don't hold us back." Mo Ming replied coldly, his figure moving like lightning as he chased after them again.
The chase intensified, and the three-way battle reached a fever pitch. Although he was at a disadvantage, he was never driven to the brink of defeat. He was agile and possessed exceptional combat awareness, managing to escape danger at the last second each time.
"Hand over the resource box, or you're dead!" the silver-armored youth roared, his spear crackling with lightning as he thrust it forward.
The man sneered, his figure flashed, dodging the spear, and at the same time, a cold glint appeared in his hand, and a dagger suddenly appeared in his palm, aimed straight at the silver-armored youth's throat.
The silver-armored youth was startled and hastily dodged to the side. The dagger grazed his neck, drawing a thin line of blood. Enraged, he swept his spear, unleashing a torrent of lightning towards the man. However, the man had already retreated several meters, coldly watching him.
Mo Ming's gaze sharpened slightly. He could tell that this fugitive was a seasoned expert. Every movement he made was extremely precise, without the slightest unnecessary motion, as if he had undergone rigorous training.
The chase lasted a full half hour, with the distance between the three sometimes closing and sometimes widening. Finally, the man seemed to notice something, a cold smile creeping onto his lips.
"You must be tired after chasing me for so long, right? In that case, I'll show you what a true dead end looks like!"
With that, he suddenly accelerated and rushed into the depths of the dense forest. The silver-armored youth and Mo Ming exchanged a glance. Although they had some doubts, they gritted their teeth and chased after him.
The level 3 diamond resource box is worth the risk for them.
Before long, the three emerged from the dense forest, and a bright and open space appeared before them. Before them lay the ruins of an abandoned factory, overgrown with weeds, and in the center of the factory, a dozen or so survivors were gathered!
"Damn it!" The silver-armored youth's expression changed, clearly realizing that he had stepped into the enemy's ambush.
"Hahaha, you two had a good time chasing them, didn't you? Now, it's my turn to retaliate!" the man said with a sneer, then shouted, "Brothers, these two guys are trying to steal our resource boxes, get them!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the survivors drew their weapons, staring menacingly at the silver-armored youth and Mo Ming. They held all sorts of weapons in their hands, including bows and arrows, longswords, and more.
The silver-armored youth's face was ashen. He gripped his spear tightly and whispered to Mo Ming, "What should we do? Fight them head-on or retreat?"
Mo Ming's gaze turned cold as he swept his eyes over the survivors. He said in a cold voice, "Although there are many of these people, their strengths vary greatly. If we fight head-on, we might not be without a chance of winning. However, that guy now has helpers, so it might be harder to steal the resource boxes."
"Damn it! I'll risk it all!" the silver-armored youth roared, stomping his foot and unleashing a burst of lightning that sent him hurtling towards the crowd.
Mo Ming sighed and said in a low voice, "A reckless fellow."
Even so, he followed closely behind, the bronze demon-suppressing sword in his hand gleaming coldly.
Within the factory ruins, the battle instantly intensified. The silver-armored youth roared repeatedly, his spear crackling with lightning, each swing carrying the force of thunder, as if capable of tearing the air apart.
He charged into the crowd like a raging thunder beast, sweeping everything in his path. Although the survivors outnumbered him, they were utterly helpless against the silver-armored youth.
"boom!"
The spear swept across, lightning exploded, and several survivors were knocked away, crashing heavily to the ground, spitting blood, and losing their fighting ability.
"Hahaha! You dare to block my way with such little strength?" The silver-armored youth laughed wildly, his body crackling with lightning, like a war god descending.
On the other side, Mo Ming's figure moved like a ghost across the battlefield. The bronze demon-suppressing sword in his hand emitted a chilling light, and each swing was accompanied by blazing flames. Wherever the sword light passed, the air seemed to ignite, and the intense heat kept the surrounding survivors at bay.
"Flames? This guy can actually control flames!" a survivor shouted in terror, his eyes filled with fear.
