Lin Xuan Qi wanted their business and he wasn’t about to make things difficult for them.

So far, this Master Chew didn’t beat around the bush or try to get him to spend his time drinking in the brothels.

He gave her a smirk but he didn’t stay for long.

And when he got there, the furnishing for the shop was near completion.

There was a signboard hanging prominently with the words ’Old Lin’s Rice Noodles’ and a logo of an old man cooking noodles that he had designed for the franchise.

The chairs and tables were new, together with the chopsticks, bowls, teapot and teacups.

What was lacking now were the workers and customers.

Lin Xuan Qi got the ten new workers from the factories to the store to be trained accordingly.

And when he was done for the day, he went and visited Sima Long, Liu Shao and Hun Xiong Kun for their preference of where their stores would be.

They made their decision quickly, with Sima Long offering a store from the Sima Family for him.

He was glad to be able to do so, saving him the hassle of finding a store.

The other two stores took a while but he was able to get them for Liu Shao and Hun Xiong Kun after some searching.

And after that, Sima Long and the two of them got the staff trained and ready to operate the franchise.

A week passed quickly with Lin Xuan Qi busy training the workers and making final adjustments to the stores.

And when he was done, he decided that it was time for the grand opening of the stores.

Firecrackers were hung from the signboard of the store.

Crowds gathered looking on while they waited for the auspicious hour to open.

Not too far away from them was Old Heng with his friends.

After they saw the store for ’Old Lin’s Rice Noodles’ they were impressed with what Lin Xuan Qi was able to execute in such a small amount of time.

It would have taken them much more effort and time to deliver the same.

That gave them even more confidence in the franchise and all of them were eager to see the response to the store.

"Master Lin, it is time now." One of the servants came over to Lin Xuan Qi and said.

Lin Xuan Qi nodded his head and waved his hand, giving those on standby the go-ahead signal.

The servants lit the firecrackers and the music band by the side started to play their instruments.

Bang.

The firecrackers went off and everyone looking on cheered with a smile.

The doors of the stores opened and the workers inside brought out small bowls of rice noodles soup for the crowd to sample.

"What? This is free for me to try?"

"Are you sure?"

"Let me have one too."

It was the first time they encountered free sampling as marketing and they were pleasantly surprised by it.

Those who got the free samples glanced over warily in Lin Xuan Qi’s direction, as they were still unsure about the samples being free.

Lin Xuan Qi nodded his head at them, gave them a smile and gestured with his hand for them to have a go.

Finally, one of them who had gotten the small bowl of rice noodles soup used the chopsticks given to him and had a mouthful of the rice noodles.

"How is it?"

The man didn’t answer but took another slurp of the noodles.

And after that he tried out the chunk of meat that was in the bowl.

It was one of the best meals he had so far.

The rice noodles were filled with the fragrance of rice, and they were chewy and smooth to swallow.

Even the meat that came with the rice noodles was tender and savory with tastes from the meat itself and the sauce that had marinated deep within.

The man went on to try out the soup and it didn’t disappoint.

The aroma of the chicken stock filled his mouth immediately when he drank it. And the savoriness from the Lin Clan Taste Transcendent Essence elevated it.

It was so good that he didn’t stop.

His friends saw his expression of satisfaction and they didn’t bother with him anymore.

They went on and tried out the samples they had and they were equally impressed with the rice noodles soup.

"This is so good, how much for a bowl of this?" One of them finished his sample and he wanted more.

The staff of the store replied with a smile, "That would be five copper coins."

"Only five copper coins?" The man was astonished by the price.

There were rice noodles, some vegetables for garnish and even meat in a bowl.

It would have cost more at the inn or other food stalls.

"Get me a bowl." The man said and the staff led him into the stall.

Those in the crowd who didn’t get the samples quickly rushed in and made their orders.
