Chapter 51, Part 3: The Terrible Nameless Guest
Chapter 51, Part 3: The Terrible Nameless Guest
"What?" March 7th shouted immediately.
"This... Miss Eve, are you saying that you've become the messenger of [Pleasure]?" Himeko's eyes widened in disbelief.
It was already surprising enough that he became the messenger of [Wisdom] before, but how did he suddenly become the messenger of [Pleasure] now?
Did you get this from wholesale?
The same goes for March 7th on the side. When did such a niche word as "order" become so frequently uttered by one person?
"Miss Eve, are you serious?" Himeko pressed.
“Of course,” Eve nodded.
She picked up the mask. "This mask was given to me by Aha."
Instantly, the power of the Envoy level surged forth.
Himeko stared at the mask, stunned into silence.
It's hard to believe that someone can become the messenger of one destiny, which is already quite remarkable, but it's unbelievable that someone could become the messenger of two destinys at the same time.
"Intellect" and "pleasure" seem completely unrelated.
Himeko continued, "This... Miss Eve, when did this happen?"
"It must have been when I was asleep?" Eve thought for a moment.
“Aha told me that this pleasure was enough to earn me a position as a messenger, and then it seems that I became the messenger of [Pleasure].
"This..." Himeko was speechless.
Alright, now we've found both the culprit who bombed the train and the good guy who repaired it.
Eve and Aha.
At this moment, everything in Himeko's mind became clear.
According to the think tank's records, before Akevili's fall, Aha disguised himself as a mortal and infiltrated the Star Train for over a year. He eventually found an opportunity when Akevili was careless and destroyed half of the train and a planet.
It seems that Miss Eve got drunk this time and blew up the train. Ahab saw a reflection of Him from back then in the explosion and found it very amusing. He then blessed Eve with the position of messenger and repaired the train.
As the train was destroyed, I could faintly hear laughter.
Otherwise, it would have been impossible for the train, which was destroyed in an instant, to be repaired.
This also explains how Eve's [Pleasure] envoy came to be.
After figuring everything out, Himeko helplessly covered her head.
Why does she suddenly seem so tired as a navigator?
March 7th then stretched out her fingers in shock and counted, "So, Eve, you're now one of the messengers of destiny?"
“It seems…yes.” Eve nodded.
March 7th counted on her fingers, "Oh my god!"
"Is there anyone in the universe who can simultaneously be the messenger of two destinies?"
Himeko shook her head. "Based on the information we have so far, there isn't."
"So that means Eve became the first person to have two Commanders?" March 7 asked in shock.
Himeko simply nodded without saying a word.
This is indeed hard to believe, but we cannot rule out the possibility.
"I want to tell everyone this news!" March 7th excitedly rushed out of the room.
Eve smiled helplessly; March 7th was still as boisterous as ever.
Himeko shook her head helplessly. "Miss Eve, you should get some rest. I'll be going now."
"By the way, if you feel a little better, remember to go see Pam."
After saying that, Himeko got up and left the room.
“Look for... Pam...!” Eve suddenly remembered something.
This little rabbit treats the train like its own life. Last time during renovations, it accidentally bumped into the train wall, and the little rabbit was furious.
I almost blew up the train this time. I wonder how angry this little rabbit will be?
Eve hesitated for a moment; the little rabbit could be quite frightening when it got angry.
An idea suddenly popped into Eve's mind.
Or, why don't you go get a carrot and try to coax him yourself?
No, the little rabbit doesn't seem to like this...
How about trying Sunset Fruit?
A green light suddenly appeared at Eve's fingertips, which she then pointed to the potted plant by the window.
Instantly, a small sunset fruit tree sprouted, grew, blossomed, and finally bore fruit.
Three exquisite sunset fruits are freshly baked!
Eve got out of bed and picked the three fresh sunset fruits.
With a "let's give it a try" attitude, Eve left the room.
In the observation car, Pam was sweeping the train bit by bit. No one else was there; they all seemed to be doing other things.
At that moment, the carriage door opened, and Eve walked in.
"Ahem, train conductor~~"
Eve carefully walked up to Pam's side.
“Passenger Eve!!” Pam immediately put down her broom and turned around when she heard Eve’s voice.
Eve closed her eyes, bracing herself for a scolding.
But then Pam suddenly hugged Eve's leg.
"What's wrong, conductor?" Eve asked, somewhat taken aback.
Pam blinked her big eyes wide. "Waaah~, Eve, you scared me to death! Do you know how worried I was about you, Pam!"
"I almost thought something had happened to you."
Eve looked at the little rabbit hugging her leg and was immediately moved.
It seems the train conductor really cares about the passengers.
"I'm fine, little bunny, don't worry," Eve said reassuringly.
"Hmph! This isn't over yet!"
"This train conductor hereby declares that you are now the third worst anonymous passenger!!"
"I'm adding another rule to the train manual! From now on, Eve is absolutely forbidden from drinking alcohol!!"
