Chapter 128: The Crazy Immortal Pet Competition in the Immortal Realm
Liu Yu and his companions left their resting place and continued their exploration of the Immortal Realm. That day, they heard that the Immortal Realm was going to hold an unprecedented Immortal Pet Competition, and out of curiosity, they immediately decided to go and watch.

However, the flames were so large that they set its owner's clothes ablaze. The owner frantically tried to extinguish the fire, shouting, "Stop! Stop!" The Qilin, however, seemed to be having a great time, continuing to breathe fire, much to the amusement of the audience.
Next up was a jade rabbit that could change color. It hopped onto the stage, and its owner tried to make it pink. However, the rabbit got too nervous and turned into a large, colorful patch, completely losing its cuteness. Liu Yu laughed so hard she stomped her feet: "This jade rabbit must be colorblind!"
A flying white tiger made its appearance, which should have been a display of graceful movements in the air. However, whether it had eaten too much or was still sleepy, the tiger only flew a few times before tumbling to the ground, rolling around a few times, and even yawning. The owner awkwardly explained, "It doesn't usually act like this; it's probably not feeling well today." Liu Yu exclaimed, "This white tiger needs to lose weight!"
Just then, a mythical bird, supposedly capable of understanding human speech, stepped onto the stage. Its owner said to it, "Sing a song for everyone." The bird tilted its head, looked at its owner, and then cawed twice—a sound so awful it sounded like a broken gong. The owner's face darkened, but Liu Yu laughed until tears streamed down her face: "That's not singing, that's clearly a noise attack!"
Xu Xian and Xiao Qing were also amused by these interesting scenes and couldn't stop smiling.
Now it was the turn of a legendary tortoise, known for its immense strength. Its owner placed a huge rock on its back, wanting to demonstrate its power. The tortoise calmly prepared to lift the rock, but as soon as it moved, the rock rolled off and hit its owner right on the foot, causing the owner to jump up in pain. Liu Yu, clutching his stomach, exclaimed, "That tortoise is truly a 'divine' wingman!"
The competition was in full swing when a fox spirit that could turn invisible entered the arena. Its owner challenged it to demonstrate, and the fox spun around a few times before vanishing. The owner proudly showed it off, but after a while, everyone heard snoring. It turned out the fox had fallen asleep while invisible and was even snoring. The audience burst into laughter, and Liu Yu laughed so hard he couldn't stand up straight: "This fox spirit is so unreliable!"

A dancing deer stepped onto the stage. As the music began, the deer began its graceful dance. Suddenly, it twisted its ankle, fell to the ground, and couldn't get up. Its owner rushed over anxiously, but the deer simply lay on the ground and started to act cute. Liu Yu laughed until she could hardly breathe: "This deer is just here to be adorable!"
Just then, Liu Yu saw a chubby Totoro. Its owner said it could predict the future. The owner asked, "Will it rain tomorrow?" The Totoro blinked, then blew a bubble from its mouth, which floated in the air and popped. The owner said awkwardly, "This... is probably its unique way of expressing itself." Liu Yu shouted, "What kind of prediction is that?!"
As the competition neared its end, a monkey that could do arithmetic made its appearance. Its owner wrote a math problem on the blackboard, and the monkey stared at it for a long time, scratching its head and ears, before finally drawing a large peach on the blackboard. The owner said helplessly, "This monkey only knows how to eat." Liu Yu laughed so hard she rolled on the floor, "This monkey is hilarious!"
The pet competition ended amidst laughter and cheers, and Liu Yu and his companions left the arena with lingering enjoyment.
They continued strolling through the celestial realm and came across an old man selling magical artifacts. Curious, Liu Yu approached, picked up a gourd, and asked, "What's this gourd for?" As they walked, they came across a deity painting. Liu Yu went over to take a look and said, "This doesn't resemble anything at all." The deity glared at him and said, "What do you know about art!"
Just then, a flock of cranes flew overhead. Liu Yu wanted to ride one, but the cranes refused and swatted him into the river with their wings.
Xu Xian and Xiao Qing quickly pulled him up.
In the evening, they found a place to rest.
That night, Liu Yu lay in bed, reminiscing about the day's interesting experiences, and drifted off to sleep. In his dream, he too possessed a magical fairy pet, and together they embarked on adventures across the celestial realm…
