Chapter 219 Everything Will Change

Belial Twilight, who was laughing heartily, remained unmoved. Luo Yi had known about these things for a long time, but he didn't understand the specific meaning of these technical terms. He didn't know what had happened in the other world.

Yao Hui suddenly thought of something and asked Luo Yi to pull up the previous paper separately to examine it himself. There must be a reason for this strange phenomenon.

Zeta continued watching the broadcast inside the ascender, wanting to understand what had happened and how he could make amends to the world.

"Later, the guys in the black market found the guy who published the paper again and interrogated him about information about the monster planet, but it was no use. All his memories related to that planet were altered, including the guy who was imprisoned."

"In the end, I had no choice but to dig out the paper again and search for any clues about the monster planet. The hunters in the black market will not give up easily."

"By pressing that idiot who wrote the paper in a different way, I found out that he originally came to that planet in search of a monster. It was a legendary monster with fantastical abilities that could even affect the other side of the universe."

"Legendary mythical monsters, born with magical abilities, possess titles such as [Cosmic Noble], [Galactic Princess], and many more..."

A loud bang abruptly halted the instrument projection, replaced by a rapid, flashing red alarm siren. Another flamethrower rained down from the sky, exploding inside the ruins and causing the worker ants to flee in panic.

But where could they escape to? The entire island was surrounded by seawater, and suddenly a flock of giant fiery-feathered birds appeared in the sky. Their gray feathers were clearly not those of local monsters. Where did they come from?

The ant colony was in complete panic; without their commander's orders, they were utterly unable to defend themselves against the attacks of the other monsters.

Flames rained down from the sky, burning the area where the worker ants were located, trapping them, and slowly annihilating them.

The soldier ants tried to resist but were only wiped out by the giant bird's concentrated fire. The clan's war angel wanted to fight back but didn't even have a single weapon.

"What on earth is going on! Why did those giant fiery-feathered birds suddenly attack the island? Wasn't Grandy already gone?"

Yaohui's surprise made his already restless emotions even more agitated. He could roughly guess the reason, but Yaohui didn't want it to become a reality.

Is there really no way to salvage this situation? Are they really not worthy of any trust?

"Kill all these remnants of the otherworldly forces! That's an order! Have the Flame Feather Giant Bird burn the entire island down."

"Those ant-beasts are nothing but Grandi's accomplices. They are monstrous creatures that invaded our homeland and deserve to die. Let's increase the firepower and bury all those monsters in the sea!"

Lights illuminated the distant coastline as mages assembled to carry out orders. Giant birds took flight from the sky, launching an even more relentless attack after a brief pause.

"Do you really have to create a second 'Sea Cloud' by your own hands? Don't you understand the source of the Ultra Beasts' disasters?"

"Or do we have to use force to shut up all those who don't understand reason?"

Haruki's tone turned heavy, his words filled with hostility towards the monsters. He began to loathe this world and was no longer willing to waste any of his hopes.

Luo Yi was very familiar with Yao Hui's demeanor, because Grandi used to be just like that; his superior was about to return.

“We have to stop them, Yaohui. We have to tell them that the ant colonies here are being used, and that they are innocent!”

"What's the point of telling them? Do you really think those guys in the guild can listen to human language? They're arrogant and stupid, they only create disasters for themselves."

"Yoki, Yoki! We really have to set off. We can't let hatred fester in people's hearts any longer. We're here to stop the disaster, aren't we?"

"It's no use. Even now, don't you understand, Zeta? Karma can't be stopped. You reap what you sow."

The Zeta Riser on the left waited anxiously, its flashing blue light strongly calling out to the one it had promised to meet;

On the right, Beria at dusk is filled with rage; his self-degrading sins are not worthy of any sympathy.

"Please, Haruki, help them."

These were the last words Haruki would hear about Zeta. After he turned to the right and reached out to grasp Belial Twilight, everything would change.

Haruki underwent an unprecedented change; the moment he came into contact with Belial Twilight, magical power enveloped him.

This time it's not an addition, but a fusion.

Luo Yi looked at everything in front of him with a mixture of excitement and astonishment. The familiar hero was still the same as before, but his aura now contained more elements that Luo Yi liked.

"That's right! Let's turn the world upside down! Let those bastards show their ugly faces and let us punch them a few times!"

A crimson aura erupted from Haruki's body, and Belial Twilight's blade became longer and more slender. He changed his appearance to better suit the user and to further unleash his desires.

With a thought, the blade flashed with magical light, and Yao Hui swung the tip of Belial Twilight Blade, creating a spatial leap through the interior of the room.

The blade energy pierced through the air and thrust towards the sky above the island. A slash from another dimension bloomed in mid-air, and the swirling, cutting airwaves repelled most of the giant birds, making their flames the last light they could see before falling into the water.

The blade tip shot out a burst of red light, the sharp blade hovering in mid-air before spreading out and descending, forming a giant protective barrier that enveloped the entire alien ruins, bringing safety to the ant-beasts.

But this was not the end. Haruki's eyes were filled with anger. Neither he nor Belial Twilight would forgive those bastards who started the war.

"We will not bring hope, we will only carry out the trial!"

With a swift slash, they leaped through space, and Haruki and Belial Twilight arrived on the beach, gazing at the distant Sea Cloud Coast without a trace of pity for the humans there.

He drew his sword and let its blade fall into the water, mimicking the shape of a sea monster. He then imbued it with the power and hatred of the demonic sword, creating a shadowy shark with a blade as its dorsal fin.

The blade, emerging from the waves, plunged straight in, revealing its dark yellow, menacing eyes as it stared at its prey on the shore, its mouth agape.

"What is that?! Run, run!"

"What?! Ah! It's charging at me! Whoaaaaah!"

"Quickly think of a way to attack! Attack!"

The blade shark leaped into the air, its massive jaws opening to dominate the darkness. No mage was spared the piercing fear of this otherworldly realm, as a new and terrifying force attacked them.

The golden eagle, given the order, opened its claws and pounced forward, while the humans behind it fled desperately, not daring to look back for even a second.

A piercing scream echoed through the night as the giant golden eagle demon was slammed to the ground, blocking everyone's path. The fleeing mages were blown about by the gusts of wind caused by the eagle demon's fall, losing all chance to escape.

Extreme darkness emerged from the giant jaws of the shark monster, its fierce and violent red eyes the last glimmer of light that humanity could see before being completely swallowed by darkness.

The night was not over yet, and the surging waves crashed from the island to the shore, soaking the clothes of all the unconscious magicians. It wasn't fatal, but it was enough to teach them a lesson.

"What's wrong with you, Haruki? Why did you hurt them?!"

"Pain is the best guide to change humanity; a human without fear is no different from a madman."

Zeta looked at Haruki in confusion. This was not the man he used to know. Haruki had become cold and obsessive, and was nothing like the man he used to be.

"I cannot change the world, I can only change myself, only in this way can I cut off the root of the chaos."

"I have come to realize that I cannot perfectly save every life, and the process of redemption will inevitably involve sacrifice."

"What are you talking about? Tell me what's wrong with you, Haruki!"

Haruki ignored Zeta's pleas. He looked at his body, feeling the magical energy surging within his flesh and blood, and swung the blade to test his strength. Belial Twilight was quite satisfied with the current situation.

"So, to put it another way, do you remember something you promised me, Zeta?"

The voice of Belial Twilight came from Haruki's mouth, merging the two into one with an incredible harmony. Haruki had completely changed, a fact that Zeta could not alter.
