Chapter 242 Like a Pervert
Chapter 242 Like a Pervert
"Let me go, Zeta. If you're so capable, fight me head-on."
"Is this how you become a hero in another world? What kind of skill is it to attack from behind!"
The captured Pedan alien's lower body was trapped in a dimensional rift, connecting to an unknown area. This made the Pedan alien very nervous because he could not touch the summoning device on his waist.
Knowing that there was no way to reverse the situation, the Baltan aliens had no intention of paying any attention to the Pedan aliens, and he did not want to put up a futile resistance.
The fact that the opponent could approach this place silently already surpassed their own. The Baltan aliens knew that their opponent's strength was unfathomable. Being able to block their attack in an instant and imprison two aliens could not be measured by the standards of ordinary people.
"You little smuggler dare to shout? It seems you have no idea what the situation is like. Well then, I'll show you properly."
After speaking, Huilia drew his sword, the blade pointing at the Pedan alien's eyes, emanating an ominous aura. The reflection in the Pedan alien's helmet was entirely purple sword energy.
“This has never been a place where you can act recklessly! It was before, and it is now.”
“I warn you not to have any improper thoughts, otherwise I will make sure you never see the light of day again.”
"This is just a minor punishment."
As Huilia's tone intensified, an unusual light, neither dark nor bright, emanated from the area around the tip of his knife, making it impossible to determine its nature.
Baltan couldn't discern what kind of power was contained within that knife.
That malevolent energy fluctuation didn't seem to come from the Giant of Light at all; there are few weapons in the universe that can alter space like that.
Before the thought process could be completed, the sharp corner arrived first. In the blink of an eye, the Pedan alien fell directly into the spatial rift below, a dangerous and unknown area.
Baltan could clearly feel the alternating hot and cold sensations coming from his lower body, but the clearer the sensations became, the more uneasy and fearful he felt, afraid that he would be the next one to fall.
"Pedan alien, where did he go..."
"Don't worry, he's fine. He'll be back soon. I just sent him out to broaden his horizons."
Huilia's expression and tone revealed no sympathy; on the contrary, he seemed to be enjoying it, like a pervert who would find pleasure in watching others suffer.
As Huilia finished sheathing his sword, Baltan regained his freedom and stood on the ground again, while a gap appeared in the open space beside him, from which the Pedan alien fell out.
Back in the sunlight, the Pedan alien seemed to lose weight and couldn't control his body. His limbs were weak and his whole body was trembling. Although his true expression couldn't be seen through his uniform, Baltan could imagine the horror the Pedan alien had experienced.
Several attempts to help him up were to no avail. The Pedan alien was just panting heavily, still shaken, with rapid, incoherent sounds coming from inside his helmet. He was slurring his words and seemed disoriented.
"Dinosaurs...poison gas...airplanes with sharp teeth, ah..."
The Pedan alien's mental state was extremely unstable, as if he was on the verge of collapse. The Baltan alien never expected things to develop to this point; Zeta's strength was far more terrifying than he had imagined.
Seeing Pedan Alien's condition, Huilia was also a little puzzled, wondering if he had used too much force. If he had been a few seconds later, he might not have been able to save Pedan Alien.
"It seems that the flow of time in the dimensional rift is different from here. What only takes a few seconds here may take ten minutes or even hours there."
"I didn't linger in that place much, and I can't say exactly why."
While explaining his reasons for thinking, Huilia didn't look at the two aliens; he had other thoughts in mind as he watched the monster army gathering in the distance.
"Aren't you going too far, Haruki? You're practically torturing him!"
"If you suffer more now, you'll suffer less later. Whether it's here or elsewhere, it's never a bad thing to have a sense of awe for the unknown."
"But what you're doing is wrong! You're using pain and fear to force others to submit!"
The pure-hearted hero and the far-sighted eccentric have completely different focuses: one reminisces about past sincerity, while the other looks forward to future peace.
Zeta knew that Haruki was still by his side. After the battle with Maga Orochi, Zeta saw the possibility of Haruki and Belial Twilight disintegrating. As long as he could find an opportunity to awaken Haruki's consciousness, they could continue their initial fighting spirit.
Huilia understood Zeta's simple mind, which worked well for good people but was useless against evil and villains. Unfortunately, to protect the world, one had to confront evil and punish villains; sincerity and kindness were not the weapons needed in the fight.
“I’m not here to argue with you, Zeta. I know what I’m doing.”
"But you're wrong. Our energy shouldn't be used to nurture negative emotions!"
"I have other things to do now, I'll tell you about this later."
Huilia pulled his gaze away from the monster team, then looked towards the horizon, pondering the changes in the universe.
Turning back to look at the two stowaways, Huilia was relieved that Baltan and Pedan hadn't run away; otherwise, if they had been caught again, Zeta would probably have argued with her again.
The Pedan alien had just recovered from his shock. After experiencing what felt like a brush with death, his biggest thought now was to find an open space to lie down and expose himself to the sun as much as possible.
The Baltan aliens had considered escaping, but the humans before them were behaving strangely, their bodies twitching intermittently, and light and unknown energy leaking out in a conflicting manner.
This kind of unpredictable eccentric is even more troublesome than a cold-blooded killer. Baltan really doesn't dare to provoke such a powerful madman. The best course of action for now is to wait and see how things develop.
"I just asked directly, who are you, and what are you doing here?"
"Um... I am a Baltan alien. I came to this unknown planet with the Pedan aliens to investigate the local ecology, record the planet's topography and creatures, as well as the level of civilization of the local people."
"Very well, then I'll talk about something I don't know."
“I don’t know what exactly you want to ask, Mr. Zeta.”
"My name is Huiliya, Zeta isn't here right now."
Huilia just wanted more information; he didn't want to waste time and energy. Zeta's behavior showed no intention of cooperating with him, and he knew he had to find the key to changing the situation on his own.
“I’m warning you, Baltan, I have friends from outer space investigating you stowaways. If what you say doesn’t match what I’ve heard from him…”
"I can't guarantee what will happen to you."
This is a naked threat.
Huilia knew this was the most effective way to obtain information at the moment. He slowly placed his hand on the hilt of his sword, and an unknown power rapidly accumulated before the eyes of the Baltan and Pedan aliens.
“I’ll tell you, we were actually assigned to this planet. We’re just doing this for money, we really have no other purpose.”
"Please, boss, put the knife down, I can talk properly."
The Pedan alien broke out in a cold sweat upon seeing the knife, and lost control of his emotions in the blink of an eye.
My own physical and mental safety is the most important thing right now; all tasks and money can go to hell!
