The two of them walked cautiously in the direction where the shadow disappeared. After walking for a while, they saw a person lying on the ground.

Wei Wuxian walked closer and saw that it was an injured disciple.

"What's wrong with you?" Wei Wuxian asked.

The disciple said weakly, "I was attacked."

Wei WuXian's heart tightened, "Who attacked?"

The disciple shook his head. "I don't know. I only saw a dark shadow, and then I was knocked unconscious."

Wei WuXian helped the disciple up, "You rest here first, I'll go take a look."

After saying that, Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji chased in the direction where the shadow disappeared. After chasing for a while, they saw a man standing there.

Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji stopped and looked at the man warily. The man turned around, revealing a familiar face.

"It's you?" Wei Wuxian said in surprise.

That person was Su She, who had failed the Lan family's outer sect assessment.

Su She looked at Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian angrily and said, "Why are you so surprised to see me? If you hadn't eliminated me in the first place, how would I have met Sect Master Jin?"
